Plenty of Pets

Molly is a Bernese Mountain Dog-Golden Retriever who needs a home where she is the only dog and she will have someone with her much of the day.
Molly was adopted through ElderDog in September, but didn’t adapt well to living with a younger, more active dog.

Molly is 15, and does have a few health challenges, including arthritis, so a home without a lot of stairs, or with an elevator, would be required. She is currently on gabapentin to help with discomfort from arthritis. She has a few age-bumps but they are not giving her any trouble, and her recent checkup indicates that all vitals are normal.
She loves both adults and children, but any children in her new family should be a little older to ensure that her lengthy naps are not disturbed. As a senior, she does enjoy her naps very much, but is instantly awake when there are sardines, peanut butter or green apples on offer.
Molly adores massages, belly rubs and walks. She may be moving slowly and not venture too far, but she is thrilled to go exploring and sniff the world. She is fully house-trained, but given her age, she would prefer a home where she is not left alone for the day, so she can get regular bathroom breaks and cuddles.
She enjoys being groomed and loves car rides, as long as her dog cushion gets to come along.

For more information on Molly, or an adoption application, email the Halifax Pawd of ElderDog at [email protected] for application to become her new best friend.
