Truro cheerleaders add to banner haul in Saint John

Truro Chill remained unbeaten this season with their third win in the Junior Level 2 Division at the Atlantic Showdown Cheerleading Championships in Saint John, N.B., on the weekend. Truro Twisters finished first in Senior 3 for their first victory. SAINT JOHN, N.B. – All of Truro All-Star Cheer and Tumble's entries brought home banners from their latest competition on the weekend.

The club earned four podium finishes including a pair of wins at the Atlantic Showdown Cheerleading Championships in Saint John, N.B. More than 80 teams competed at the two-day event, which offered bids to the national and world championships later this year.

Truro Chill remained unbeaten this season with their third win in the Junior Level 2 Division while Truro Twisters claimed top spot for their first victory in Senior Level 3.

Truro Heatwave was second in Youth 1 and Truro Reign finished third in Senior 1.

All four teams will be back in action this weekend as they host the Central Nova Cheer Challenge at RECC.
