The Cougars hosted the tournament and swept their two preliminary games by scores of 20-0 over the Hants East Tigers and 14-5 over the Northumberland Nighthawks.
In the final, the Cougars easily defeated the Amherst Vikings 15-1 to advance to the NSSAF provincial championship this weekend, hosted by the Capital region champion Halifax West Warriors.
The Cougars are 14-0 this season and a combined 18-1 during the past two seasons.

The winning pitcher was Jackson Haight. Chad Mingo stroked three singles, while Dawson Briggs and Mackie Marquis each had two hits and Haight added a two-run homer.

Dawson Briggs fired a complete-game three hitter. Connor Angers had two singles and a double; Luke Smith singled and doubled and Connor Irwin tripled.
