TRURO – The Baseball Nova Scotia 15 U AA Qualifier hasn't been without its drama this weekend.

The ball was a little late for Tanner Greatorex of the Truro Bearcats to apply the tag on this play of the opening game in the 15 U AA Qualifier on the weekend. Darsey Pratt is circling to cover up on the play.

Heavy rain on Sunday morning forced the suspension of the championship game in the top of the third inning, with the host Truro Bearcats leading Lake Echo 8-3.
The contest has been scheduled to be completed Monday night at 6:30 p.m.
Truro came out of preliminary round-robin play with a record of two wins and a loss. The Bearcats defeated Lake Echo 16-2 and North Sydney 4-3, before suffering an 11-1 setback to Glace Bay Miners.
Lake Echo rebounded from their loss Friday to shade Glace Bay 6-5 and down North Sydney 11-1, setting the stage for the championship matchup.
