“If your child is in need of a bike and can benefit from one, call or drop in to the United Way (of Colchester),” said spokeswoman Kimberly Brown.
The agency has about 70 bicycles still remaining from this year’s Bikes for Kids program.
So far, only 25 of this year’s available allotment of 97 bicycles have been spoken for, she said.
The bikes are ones donated to the agency, which have been repaired or refurbished where necessary.
Anyone wishing to receive a bicycle can drop into the United Way office at 574 Prince St., or by calling 895-9313 up until July 31.
Last year, a total of 70 bikes were distributed throughout the community.
