Halifax police searching for missing 14-year-old Dartmouth girl

DARTMOUTH - Halifax police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 14-year-old Dartmouth girl.

Police say Ashley Coggins-Comeau was last seen at 3 p.m. on Jan. 8 when she left her Pleasant Street home. Police say there is no evidence to suggest she’s met foul play, but there is concern for her well being.

“We have no information as to where she may be,” said Halifax Regional Police spokesman Const. Pierre Bourdages.

Police are asking Coggins-Comeau, or anyone with information on her whereabouts, to contact them at 490-5016.

Comeau is described as five feet, 115 pounds with a thin build. She has blue eyes and long dark brown hair with the left side of her head shaved.

She also has three skull tattoos on her left arm.
