Shirley Delores Shortliffe

SHORTLIFFE, Shirley Delores – 71, Truro, passed away Wednesday morning, May 2, 2018, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Glace Bay, she was predeceased by her mother, Margaret MacNeil (MacLeod) and daughter, Tanya Shortliffe. Shirley’s days were brightened whenever she spoke of, or was, surrounded by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A very special thank you is extended to Susie, along with neighbors Pat and Daniel and the many residents of Longworth Lodge, who showed her kindness and support every day. Shirley’s family would also like to extend their gratitude to the Palliative Care Team at Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Respecting Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Donations in her memory may be made to Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
