George A. Faulkner

George A. Faulkner
The passing of George A. Faulkner (age 75) of Salmon River occurred August 10 at Colchester East Hants Health Center. George's daughters Wendy Stewart (Allan) and Maria Erman (Greg) will miss George's recounts of his latest finds at local auctions and yard sales, tales of a big sea bass that did not get away, the missing lucky number on Lotto 649 and the day’s best (or worst) horse at Truro Raceway. Maria and Greg's sons Evan (age 11) and Tristan (age 8) will fondly remember fishing for the huge trout with Grampy Faulkner. George will be greatly missed by his devoted friend Jeanie Kopitoski. We thank Jeanie for being Dad’s caregiver and best friend during his last several months. Until he was age 74, George was a moulding fabricator at Vintage Mouldings where his friends and co-workers will remember him as the old guy who could fix anything and keep up with men half his age. George was predeceased by his parents Merle and Gladys (‘Peggy’) Faulkner of Murray Siding. He is survived by his sister Marlene Creelman, brothers Gary and Wayne Faulkner. Respecting George’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be made in his memory.
