Halifax District RCMP is investigating after two trucks were stolen from businesses during the past week.
Just before 2 a.m. on December 23, two suspects entered the property of a business on Temple Terrace, in Lower Sackville, and drove off with a 2016 Ford F550 XTL single cab truck. The truck is white, with a custom black DEL brand box on the back and barn style doors in the rear. It had Nova Scotia license plate 45684D on it when it was stolen.
Some time between 3 p.m. on December 27 and noon on December 28, suspects broke in to an auto dealership on Sackville Dr., in Middle Sackville, where they stole keys and left with a 2008 GMC Sierra 3500HD 4WD extended cab truck. The diesel truck is grey with charcoal leather interior and a matching cap with silver running boards. There was also a hitch for a 5th wheel trailer in the bed of the truck.
