YARMOUTH, N.S, – As had been earlier indicated by those involved with a film project in Yarmouth, public access at the Cape Forchu property where the movie "The Lighthouse' is to be filmed is being restricted.

A barricade with security is now located at the Lobster Pound Road/John's Cove Beach. Local and movie-related traffic will only be permitted past here. The general public is not able to go past this area. This area was chosen for the barricade as it allows for a turn-around spot for traffic and also still allows for access to the John's Cove and False Harbour beaches.

The traffic restriction will remain to May 11.
The public is being thanked for its cooperation and understanding.

While you can't go to the lighthouse property, you can still "visit" on the Cape Forchu Nova Scotia webcam

The feature film being filmed is called 'The Lighthouse' and stars Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson.
