BIBLE HILL, N.S.

Two female pedestrians were transported to hospital and treated for minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Bible Hill Sunday evening.

Colchester District RCMP Sgt. Paul Vickers said the women, both in their 40s, were struck shortly before 8:30 p.m. while crossing through the intersection of Main Street and Pictou Road. He said the women were not in a marked crosswalk at the time.

Neither woman was admitted to hospital, Vickers said.

As yet, no charges have been laid and the investigation is ongoing.
