STEWIACKE, N.S. — Emergency services were called to a fuel truck fire in Stewiacke on Thursday, Sept. 26.

A call about a brake fire at the rear of a trailer was reported around 1:25 a.m. The Special Hazards Response Unit, Stewiacke Fire, RCMP and EHS were on scene and Scotia Drive was closed for a short time.

The fire was contained to the rear wheels and there were no injuries.
