Colchester RCMP looking for thief who stole jacket, valuables

LOWER TRURO – The public can help in finding the people responsible for taking a jacket that contained several valuables.

The RCMP have arrested and charged 24-year-old Devin Charles Doucette and charged him with three offences including child pornography.

Colchester RCMP say at about 3 p.m. Tuesday they received a call reporting the theft of a jacket from the washroom of the Canadian Tire store on Robie Street in Lower Truro.
They say the jacket contained a wallet, a set of keys and an amount of cash.
A man was seen exiting the store with the jacket and a short time later a woman turned in the set of keys that were with the jacket to the Customer Service Desk. Both left the store and departed in a four-door silver sedan.
