There’s a rainfall warning in effect and, because the frozen ground won’t be able to absorb much water, flooding could take place.

It was 5 C at 6:30 a.m., and today’s high is expected to be 12 C, with a 60% chance of showers, increasing to heavier rain tonight.

Saturdays high will be around 15 C, with rain, dropping to -3, with rain or freezing rain overnight.

Sunday’s high is -3 C, with a 60% chance of flurries, and an overnight low of -9 C.

Plenty of Pets

Alice has had a very tough time, but she’s now ready for her new home.
She arrived at Coastal K9 10 months ago, with medical issues that took a long time to clear up. Along with losing one eye, she has "Spaniel Seborrheic Disease" (dermatitis that affects the ears, neck, chest, feet, and rump). There can be an odor, but baths twice a week keep it under control. Alice is food and fleabite hypersensitive, so she requires daily medication to keep her skin issues under control, monthly flea treatments, and high-quality kibble that contains no grains or chicken. Her skin medication costs approximately $50 per month.
Alice likes to play ball and she loves to snuggle. She's great on leash and is house and crate trained. She doesn’tlike to be alone for long periods. She has mild food aggression and should be an only dog, and she's not fond of cats.
Alice is spayed, vaccinated, treated for parasites and micro chipped. She comes with 30-days of free pet insurance courtesy of 24PetWatch. Her adoption fee is $300.
If you think Alice would make an ideal addition to your family visit Coastal K9 Rescue Society at http://www.coastalk9.ca or www.facebook.com/coastalk9rescue/ or email info@coastalk9.ca
