Are you looking at ways to renovate, or even what to incorporate into a new build? If so, you might want to visit the annual Colchester County Home Show. From April 8 to 10, visitors to the Rath Eastlink Community Centre can find all things home related, and possibly walk away with inspiration.

"We will have in excess of 80 exhibitors," said Scott Sprague, with Master Promotions. "It's almost sold out exhibitor-wise. There are a few spaces left with a month to go, so we will be sold out."

The show will open at 4 p.m. Friday, and remain open for visitors until 9 p.m. Saturday's hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with offerings from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The home show typically sees close to 5,000 visitors over the three-day period, with most attending on Saturday.

Some of the longtime exhibitors who are returning for another year include Harris Home Hardware, Wilson's Home Heating, RE/MAX Fairlane Realty, McBurney Pools and Spas, and Hollis Ford. This year, visitors will also see a large display from Nova Scotia Power, showcasing some newer ways to heat homes, as well as energy saving tips.

This year will also see a section dedicated to unique retail and home-based businesses.

Admission is $6 for an adult day pass, $5 for a senior (65+) or junior (ages 10-16) day pass. Children under 10 are free. Family passes are available for $17 and can be used for two adults with two juniors, or one adult and three juniors.
