Tourism in Colchester County on the rise

TRURO – Truro and area is experiencing a good tourism season say many officials in the business.

Truro’s Belgravia Bed and Breakfast told the Truro Daily News its occupancy rate has increased from 65 per cent last July to 87 per cent this month.

The Glooscap Heritage Centre and information centre in Millbrook is also boasting an active tourist season. On Tuesday morning alone, two bus tours dropped into the centre, which is a common occurrence.
