MAHONE BAY - A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a head-on crash on Highway 103 near Mahone Bay.

The RCMP say the accident happened between exits 10 and 11 around 6 p.m. Sunday.

A man driving one of the cars was airlifted to South Shore Regional Hospital with what police describe as serious injuries.

A woman was driving the second car, and she was taken by ambulance to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
