I’m happy to say I’m feeling much better.
I'm back on steroids so there is no sign of inflammation where I was given the radiation. I feel 100 per cent better and the only spots I see in front of my eyes come once in a while; nothing like it was- and the other eye is getting a lot better as well.
I recently had a bone scan at nuclear medicine and I need a full body CT scan done as well before going back to my oncologist. And if everything comes back okay, then I can get back on my regular chemo treatments. Keep your fingers crossed and continue sending me those good vibes.
In other health news, I am fighting with weight again. All that work to get it off after the last round of steroids and now I'm back up to 148 and my pants are getting tight again.
Also, I’m tired a lot from the radiation but that is normal and you do not lose your hair from the radiation, so that’s positive.
My pain level this past week was a two - only my hands and feet are numb. The hands are the worst and that is what I use the most to make my hats and jewelry.
Thank you for all the cards and letters and gifts; they mean so much. I am ready to do community talks again so if there is any group that is looking for a speaker for an hour or two, let me know. You can reach me by contacting this paper.
Tip of the week: the colours of all the leaves are absolutely breathtaking. Take a moment to be still and enjoy that beauty.
