Brooksides Bagnell wins two in tennis

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. - Monday's results at the 2009 Canada Games in Summerside, P.E.I.
Boys Rugby - Nova Scotia fell 14-10 to New Brunswick and 12-0 to Manitoba.
Team Tennis (mixed) - Stephanie Bagnell defeated Lynda Rogers of New Brunswick
6-1, 6-4 in girls singles. Bagnell then took a
6-0, 6-0 forfeit win over Quebec's
Eugenie Bouchard.
Farina Rafiq and Julia Gray defeated Nathalie Murphy and Gabrielle Surette 6-0, 6-2 in girls doubles. Rafiq and Gray also suffered a 6-1, 6-0 loss to Quebec's Marie Frederique Bedard and Marianne Jodoin.
Dennis Keaveney and Brendan Nickerson fell 6-4, 6-4 to Daniel Blake and Alex Lavoie in boys doubles. The pair then dropped a 6-3, 6-2 match to Quebec's Isade Juneau and Samuel Monette.
Girls Softball - Nova Scotia lost 10-0 to Ontario. Meghan Brown suffered the loss allowing five hits. Browm, Katelyn Munro and Alicia Mackinnon were hitless.
Nova Scotia then defeated P.E.I. 4-0.
