Truro tennis players crack Canada Games roster

TRURO - Several members of the Truro Tennis Club will represent the province at this summer's Canada Games in P.E.I.
Stephanie Bagnell, Farina Rafiq and Dennis Keaveney were all named to the team recently by Tennis Nova Scotia, while Rumana Rafiq was also named as an alternate.
The tennis events will be held in Charlottetown Aug. 15 to 22.
Also named to the team were Luke Saunders and Caroline Termaine (Halifax), Julia Gray and Brenden Nickerson (Dartmouth), Peter Gibson (Windsor) and male alternate Alister Cauchan (Halifax).
The players will take part in several mandatory training camps and tournaments prior to the Games, one being the Atlantic Tennis Association circuit tournament at Truro Tennis Club June 19 to 21.
