WENTWORTH - A skiing accident in Wentworth Tuesday resulted in non-critical injuries.
Ski Wentworth general manager Leslie Wilson told the Truro Daily News the incident occurred early afternoon when a skier was on one of the intermediate trails, the Rosebowl.
A life flight was brought in to the ski facility as a precaution but was not used. The victim, a female, who has not been identified, was transported to the Colchester Regional Hospital by ground ambulance, with non-critical injuries.
Wilson estimated 1,200 people were at Ski Wentworth Tuesday, which is normal for March break crowds.
Wilson said the last time a life flight was required at the ski hill was at least five years ago.
