Bezanson wins international BMX competition in Estonia

TRURO - Onslow Mountian's Drew Bezanson has made a huge mark on the world BMX scene.
The 20-year-old put up 358 points recently to win the 2010 Simpel Session International BMX competition in Tallinn, Estonia, an event which saw 110 competitors from all over the world. Bezanson was the only Canadian at the event. The event was streamed live over the Internet and attracted 210,000 viewers from 97 countries. Bezanson edged Brett Banasiewicz (355) and Ben Wallace (346) for the crown.

    good to see drew getting some recognition from his home town newspaper after being quite successful over the past 2 summers. Nice to see something in the news that isnt hockey or baseball.
