TRURO - The Truro Bearcats kick off a run of three games in three nights tonight in Amherst.
The Bearcats enter the contest at the top of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League's Bent Division with 66 points and a 30-6-3-3 record while the Ramblers (18-24-1-1) are tied for fifth with the Yarmouth Mariners (17-24-2-2) at 38 points.
But numbers can be deceiving and the Bearcats will have to be on their toes as the Ramblers always bring their best to battle the Hubtowners.
The Bearcats have taken four of the five meetings between the two sides this season by a combined score of 24-10, but Amherst won their first tilt on Oct. 31 4-3.
The Bearcats return home Saturday to host the Summerside Western Capitals (23-16-1-1) at 7:30 p.m. before Amherst visits Sunday at 7 p.m.
