TRURO – The Truro Bearcats will have to wait until at least Friday to learn who they’ll face in the EastLink Division final.

Maritime Junior Hockey League

The Maritime Junior Hockey League announced early Monday it had postponed Game 6 of the division semifinal between the Pictou County Crushers and Amherst Ramblers until Friday. Game time at Amherst Stadium is 7 p.m.. The game had originally been scheduled for Wednesday.

Game 7, if needed, will be Saturday at 7 p.m. in New Glasgow.

That means the start of the division final, which would likely have started Saturday, will also be pushed back. A new start date has not yet been determined.

The Bearcats have earned home ice advantage throughout the Kent Cup playoffs thanks to finishing the regular season first overall with a 38-11-1-2 record. They punched their ticket to the division final last Saturday after completing a sweep of the Valley Wildcats with a 5-0 victory.
