BIBLE HILL - Brookfield’s Ryan Ellis may have led all drivers in wins this season at Truro Raceway, but he wasn’t the track’s top money earner in 2013.
That title went to Kenny Arsenault, of Charlottetown, who collected $39,848 in winnings at the half-mile oval in Bible Hill.
Standardbred Canada released its list on Wednesday of top achievers from each of its Canadian tracks.
Ellis claimed his third consecutive driving title at Truro with 45 wins in 160 starts.

Nationally, Sylvain Filion led all drivers with $6,111,736 in winnings at Mohawk and Woodbine racetracks while Trevor Henry went to the winner’s circle 529 times at Western Fair Raceway, Clinton and Grand River.
Canada’s top trainer was Richard Moreau with $3,623,805 in purses from 279 wins at Georgian Downs, Grand River, Mohawk, Western Fair and Woodbine.
Gilles Barrieau, a Saint John, N.B. resident who often races at Truro, led the nation with a .420 average for drivers and was track champion at Exhibition Park, Fredericton and Summerside.
