Blazers pepper Scott in win over Elks

BROOKFIELD – The Sackville Blazers built a 2-0 first-period lead and cruised to a 4-1 victory over the Brookfield Elks in Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League action on Tuesday.

Blazers down Elks 4-1.

Elks goaltender Spencer Scott received a major workout, as the Blazers fired 59 pucks at the Brookfield net.

Adam Brown, Ryan Davis, Jordan Keizer and Braden Kamermans scored goals for Sackville. Ryan Ingraham was the lone Elks shooter to beat Blazers netminder Jonathan Boutin.

The loss dropped the last-place Elks to 5-13-0-3, while the fourth-place Blazers improved to 12-5-0-0.
