Countrified Clothing Cobras sizzling to start peewee B hockey season

DEBERT – The West Colchester Countrified Clothing Cobras are off to a hot start to their peewee B hockey season.

The Cobras got off to a 2-0 start to the regular season recently with a 17-0 pounding of the St. Mary’s Coyotes and a 5-1 win over New Glasgow. The results come after a 6-0 preseason run.

Dylan MacDonald, Ethan Dawson, Kobe Nicholas, Declan Hearn and Drew Mumford did the scoring agaimst New Glasgow. Nicholas also chipped in an assist.

Mumford pumped in five goals against St. Mary’s while Austin Gilbert and MacDonald each netted a pair. Single markers came from Ryan Higgins, Zach Betts, Daniel Ferdinand, Ryan Miller, Brent Rushton, Jonah Pridham, Keegan Grady and Thomas Peters. Betts, Miller, Higgins, Gilbert, Grady and MacDonald also recorded assists.

Aiden Perry and Luc Maloney split he goaltending duties.
