BROOKFIELD - The successful bidder for a Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) agency store should be known in the near future.
NSLC spokesperson Mike Maloney said the information should be released in about a week's time.
"The RFPs (requests for proposal) are all in," he said. "It's sitting with the government right now."
The rural south Colchester village is one of seven across the province that have most recently been approved to host a NSLC agency store.
Reportedly, applications have been submitted from four separate retailers in Brookfield for the agency license, however, Maloney said the government is not releasing the names of those businesses that have applied.
