TRURO – More than 400 students from Cobequid Educational Centre will graduate Friday night during a ceremony at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre.

The ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m.

Because of limited parking at the centre, the Colchester East Hants Health Centre Foundation is providing free overflow parking for parents and families. The gates to the parking lot across the street at the hospital will be open in the visitor lot, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and remain open until 10 p.m.

Doors to the graduation ceremony will open at 6:30 p.m. and all guests are asked to use the doors at the west side, upper entrance. Guests are reminded to bring their tickets. Those without tickets will not be admitted before 7:15 p.m. Tickets will be collected by ushers and will be available as souvenirs following the ceremony.

Public seating will be available after all ticketed seats are filled, after 7:15 p.m.

There will be designated seats for those who are hearing impaired and need an interpreter. Please call 896-5700 and leave your name with Debbie. There are also seats available for those in a wheelchair on first come, first served basis.

A professional photographer will be taking photos of each graduate as he/she accepts their diploma. Parents can pick up the pictures from the Student Services Office at CEC after noon on July 3. No guests will be permitted onto the ice surface area for photography purposes.

For those unable to attend, the graduation will be live streamed on the CEC website (www.cec.ccrsb.ca).
