TRURO – A 39-year-old man had to be Tasered before police were able to arrest him Tuesday night.

Patrol officers with the Truro Police Service located the man at around midnight in the Barrow Street area after being out past his court-ordered curfew. He attempted to run from police, however was caught following a foot chase.
Once caught, the man resisted arrest and a Taser was deployed.
Officers seized a quantity of cash and prescription pills from the man.
He’s facing charges of resisting arrest, breaching a court order and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
