Crews search for fisherman missing after boat capsizes on Nova Scotia lake

FISHER LAKE - Crews are searching for a fisherman who disappeared after his boat capsized on a lake in the Annapolis Valley.

Police say they received a call at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday that a 51-year-old man was missing in the Fisher Lake area of Annapolis County.

Police say the caller indicated that two fishermen had been in a small boat when it overturned in the lake.

One man was able to swim to shore and call the RCMP.

The local ground search and rescue group, volunteer fire department and water rescue unit are helping in the search.
