TRURO - Four drivers were convicted in provincial court on Wednesday after pleading guilty to failing the breathalyzer.

John David Christianson, 50, of 15 Coburg Cres., was sentenced to 30 days in jail, placed on probation for 12 months and had his driving privileges revoked for two years.

Christianson's probation terms include that he successfully take counselling for alcohol consumption.

A stipulation was also added that he specifically not operate a motor vehicle, despite the fact that condition is a regular part of the penalty for convicted drinking drivers during a license suspension.
