BEDFORD - Halifax police say no one was hurt when a driver crashed her car into a ground-floor apartment in Bedford.

A car sticks out of an apartment in Bedford after smashing through a window Thursday morning.

Halifax Regional Police Const. Pierre Bourdages said it’s not clear what happened to cause the accident, which was reported at 50 Nelson’s Landing around 11:13 a.m. Thursday.

“The vehicle went through a window on the bottom floor of a building and actually entered the building through that window,” said Bourdages.

The female driver of the car wasn’t hurt, and no one in the building was injured either.

At the scene, a car was seen sticking out of an apartment window, with many tenants looking on from neighbouring units.

Bourdages said investigators are on scene trying to figure out what caused the accident.
