Trial set for Salmon River man accused of confining woman

PICTOU – A 31-year-old Salmon River man will have his side of a story heard by a provincial court judge in November.

Glenn Smith Thompson faces charges of unlawful confinement involving a woman in River John in August. He is also charged with assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats to cause death in the alleged Aug. 31 incident. 

The trial will take place Nov. 19 in Pictou provincial court.
