TIMBERLEA - Police say someone wearing a mask stabbed a 18-year-old male teen in the abdomen in the backyard of a home in Timberlea early Sunday morning.
The RCMP were called to a home on Governors Lake Road around 2:40 a.m. The victim, police say, was in the backyard of the home when he was confronted by an unknown person wearing a mask.
A struggle ensued and the teen was stabbed after police say the suspect stole his watch.
The suspect fled the scene and the victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There have been no arrests.
