Suspended sentence for Truro shoplifter

Shoplifter gets probation

TRURO – A woman who pled guilty to shoplifting from three Truro businesses was given a suspended sentence in provincial court Wednesday.

Melissa Grace Faulkner, 27, of 32 Burnyeat St., Apt. 1A, was also placed on 12-month’s probation and ordered to successfully take counseling for illicit drug use and psychiatric, psychological or mental health issues.
