Truro Heights man killed in snowmobile accident

FOLLY LAKE – A 70-year-old Truro Heights man was killed in a snowmobile accident here Friday afternoon.

The man was leading a group of snowmobilers when his snowmobile veered off the trail and into the woods where he crashed on a groomed trail.

Colchester District RCMP responded to the crash at 3:16 p.m. They are investigating to determine its cause.

The name of the man has not been released.
