Newfie?!! Honestly...... as a fan and player of NEWFOUNDLAND music (and a born & bred 'Newfie') it really gets to me when this word is thrown around. Newfoundland music is very rich in our heritage and tells a wonderful story of our history and culture, and to have it summed up as "Newfie" is a complete disrespect to those who composed and passed this music down the generations.
