TRURO - A Toronto musician is stopping in Truro as part of his cross-country tour.

Pianist, composer and teacher Frank Horvat presents the Green Keys Tour, a family-friendly concert promoting eco-sustainability.

The tour has more than 50 stops throughout Canada during the year, and will be in Truro Nov. 8 at First Baptist Church, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Horvat's piano music is original and features a mix of classical and popular styles. The highlight will be a performance of Earth Hour, a continuous one hour piano piece performed in the dark.

Admission will be a free-will donation. A portion of the proceeds from sales of Horvat's new CD, A Little Dark Music, goes to the World Wildlife Fund. CDs will be available at the show.
