Love My Library, By Norma Johnson-MacGregor

Library website offers special section on upcoming move

Many of you may already know a new home for the Truro branch is on the horizon. In November 2015 (tentative), the Truro branch will move into the old Normal College, the building situated behind the current library.

The historic building is currently being remodeled and expanded by L & R Construction and MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects.

Want to know more? A visit to our website at lovemylibrary.ca will take you to a special section dedicated to the new building. It includes facts and FAQs, pictures and news articles. To find it, follow the link posted on our homepage under the caption ‘Coming Soon! A new home for the Truro Library’.

You can also get our latest updates by following us on Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr. Just visit lovemylibrary.ca, scroll to the bottom of our homepage and click the appropriate link to follow us.

We also have a new summer 2014 Library Happenings guide for the Truro branch. To see what programs and events we will have this summer, visit the library to pick up a copy or visit our website and click on the Library Happenings guide link under “Programs & Events”.

There’s a lot happening at your library!
