reachAbility is launching the 2014 season of Inclusion Revolution on Eastlink Television. Airing weekdays at 2 p.m. and Wednesday evenings at 9 p.m., the engaging, community-based show is dedicated to creating a culture of inclusion.
For the current season, host Tova Sherman provides us with an entertaining and informative opportunity to change the way we view disabilities in our community, workplace and beyond through discussions with experts on a variety of topics.
This week‚Äôs show, ‚ÄúCamp Leaders and Staff,‚ÄĚ is all about reachAbility‚Äôs leadership role in our community, particularly in regards to its camps and how it‚Äôs a priority in all reachAbility programs to develop leaders and leadership skills.
Next week‚Äôs show, ‚ÄúStigma and Mental Health,‚ÄĚ features Truro-Bible Hill MLA Lenore Zann, who was named one of the Faces of Mental Illness by the Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health for 2013. Sherman speaks to Zann about her personal journey with mental illness and how we can eradicate the stigma.
