SHANGHAI, China - China's central bank says the country's foreign reserves, already the world's largest, hit a record high $2.273 trillion by the end of September.
The People's Bank of China said in a report Wednesday on its website that the reserves rose about $141 billion in July-September.
China's economic recovery and gains in the country's currency versus the dollar have been attracting outside money into stocks, real estate and other investments.
