TRURO POWER CENTRE – McCallum Settlement native Charlie A’Court is set to perform at this month’s Central Nova Tourist Association (CNTA) regional conference.
The musician will perform at the Tradeshow, Wine and Cheese Networking Event at the Glooscap Annex.
The conference will be held Feb. 28 to March 1.
A’Court is nominated for two 2013 East Coast Music Awards and has recently been named a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.
“CNTA couldn’t be more thrilled to showcase such amazing local talent as part of our event,” said Joyce Mingo, executive director of the association.
The two-day conference will involve the evening tradeshow event and a full day of informative sessions relating to topics such as marketing, human resources and customer service training, social media, marketing levies, an update on local tourism initiatives as well as an open forum discussion.
The day will also include CNTA’s annual awards luncheon acknowledging those who have excelled in 2012 in categories including accommodation, attraction, food and beverage, festival and event, gift shop, ambassador, and ‘superhost’ customer service.
