CINDY'S SNAPSHOT: A spider web in the sun

Marilyn Yeadon got nice and close to take this great photo in East Dalhousie NS.  Marilyn must not suffer from Arachnophobia – the irrational fear of spiders...  

Since spiders only spin their silks when the wind is calm, you can expect a fair day if you come across a web - like this one - covered in morning dew. 

Light wind and clear skies occur directly under a fair weather system.  It would take the day before the wind and clouds would roll in ahead of a weather disturbance. 

Grandma Says: “When spider webs are wet with dew, expect a fine day”.
