TRURO: Get set for the first spring storm of the season...
A weather warning is now in effect. Click here to view all affected communities.
It might be spring, but it is still March. A developing weather maker is expected to intensify as it moves in. Patchy freezing drizzle leads the way then a strong south-east wind will pull warm air across the region making this a rain and wind event Friday into Saturday. We can also expect higher than normal water levels and pounding surf along south-east facing coastlines. As the system moves out, the mild wind will shift to the NW and cool things down for the beginning of the week. The next weather system will push off Cape Cod late Sunday and could bring as much as 10 cm of snow on Tuesday. Stay tuned…
