TRURO: No middle of the road for the middle of the month

It’s been a week of extremes from record high temperatures to bitter wind chill and that trend is not quite over yet. By daybreak tomorrow our warmer than normal temperatures will have given way to another blast of Arctic air. Cold northwesterly winds will make it feel like -10 to -15 and trigger onshore snow squalls. Some of the higher amounts will be along Newfoundland’s west coast where as much as 10 cm of snow is possible behind the front on Saturday. I expect the trend to be towards milder weather next but that will come with clouds and showers and not much sunshine. November!
