U10 Elks win Nova Scotia fastpitch title

BROOKFIELD, N.S. – Brookfield Elks Red captured the Nova Scotia U10 fastpitch softball championship last weekend in Lantz.

The Elks posted a 5-1 record at the five-team, round-robin event and blanked East Hants Blue 2-0 in the championship game.

Brookfield got great pitching and played well defensively, allowing just two runs during the entire tournament.

Ewan White of the Elks was named player of the tournament.
