TRURO, N.S. — Truro’s Madison Bond set two Nova Scotia records at the Speedo Eastern Canadian swimming championships during the weekend in Quebec City.
In preliminaries she broke the provincial record for the 13-14 women’s 200 metre breaststroke and went on to smash that record in the finals, where she placed fourth.
Truro’s Dean Sangster has set new club records for the Cobequid Centurions while finishing sixth in both the 100m and 50 m backstroke.
