TRURO, N.S. – Truro’s Zach Gaudet continued his strong play on Nova Scotia golf courses this season by winning a recent CJGA event at Ken-Wo in New Minas.

Zach carded an 18-hole score of 84 on a windy day to win the peewee division by a whopping 14 strokes. Earlier this spring, Zach shot 84 to finish second at a CJGA tournament at Chester Golf Club.

Zach, a 12-year-old who is finishing Grade 6 at Truro Junior High School, will play in three upcoming events at his home course in Truro, including a CJGA tournament (July 2); Truro DQ Invitational (July 5) and the Nova Scotia junior championship (July 9 to 11). He will also tee it up at multiple junior invitational events later this summer.
