TRURO, N.S. — The Truro Bearcats open their Maritime Junior Hockey League 2019-20 exhibition schedule Saturday, Aug. 31.
The Bearcats will be at home for a 7 p.m. contest, hosting the South Shore Lumberjacks at the Rath-Eastlink Community Centre.
The following day, Sept. 1, Truro will travel to Berwick for a 4 p.m. matchup with Valley Wildcats at 4 p.m.
The Bearcats’ remaining two pre-season tilts will be against the Pictou County Weeks Crushers. Truro travels to New Glasgow Thursday, Sept. 5 for a 7 p.m. start. The Crushers visit Truro Sept. 7 for a 7 p.m. contest at the RECC.
The Bearcats open their regular season on Friday, Sept. 13 as they travel to Yarmouth to take on the defending champion Mariners for a 7:30 p.m. start.
Truro will have four road games under their belt before their home opener, Saturday, Sept. 28 when they host the Lumberjacks at 7 p.m. at the RECC.
